Layout invoicemodule

Layout
In this menu you can customize the views of Order Processing, Order List and Invoice List. By default, it includes four templates for order processing, one for Order List and one for Invoice List. When you create your own templates, these are stored either under Company Templates, which are marked with a blue rectangle in the template’s structure, or My Templates, which are marked with a green square.

Order processing
By default there are four standard templates from which to choose. They are visible under “Manage Order” within the Layouts column.

If you click on one of the existing templates you will see the different fields located within the specific templates. The fields located under “Information containers with order fields” are the fields visible when creating new orders. “Order cart fields” shows which columns to include in the basket (or order processing view).
Available fields to the right of the display shows the various fields that may be included in the different views in order processing.

To set a specific template as the default, right-click on it in the list and select Set as default.

If you want to create your own template layout in order processing: Click New above the list of templates, select Order template and give it a name.

For information containers with order fields, click the Add button to create a container (or “box”) that will contain the fields you want.
You can simply drag and drop fields from the right panel into the chosen container.
When creating information boxes, it is important to consider how this will look in order processing (so that one does not get too many fields in each container). Several containers can indeed be created by clicking the Add button several times, but we recommend that one does not use too many containers.
Note that it is not possible to change the order of the containers, but one may change the name of a container by clicking on the icon just to the left of the cross in the top right corner of each of the containers.

Fields for the columns in the order cart are simply added to the “Order cart fields”. Please note: when one goes to order processing, the field at the top will appear farthest to the left on the order line, the one at the bottom will be to the far right.

If you wish to make minor amendments to one of the standard templates (defaults may not be altered), click on the template you wish to amend, and click Copy by the name. All the containers remain, but you may rename them. Thence you can add and remove fields as needed.

Order List
You may customise which columns appear in your Order list. The Layout is based on two containers:

Selected fields: shows the fields/columns you wish to be visible in your order list.

Available fields: shows all fields/columns that may be added, i.e. those not already in Selected fields.

In each of these boxes there are four columns:
Field name, Show/hide, Width and Sortable.

Show/Hide: Within Selected fields one may double click on a line in this column and select whether the field will automatically be displayed in the Order Book or not.

Width: You may select a specific width for the fields.

Sortable: indicates whether it is possible to sort on the field within the list or not.

Within Selected fields, the fields will appear left to right in the Order List in the same order as from top to bottom here.

When a new template for Order List is saved it will come up with options for sorting:
Columns: Which of the columns to sort by.
Sort Order: whether it should be descending or ascending sort order.

Again, if you wish to make minor amendments to one of the standard Order List templates (defaults may not be altered), click on the template you wish to amend, and click Copy by the name. All the containers remain, but you may rename them. Thence you can add and remove fields as needed.

If you wish one of your self-created templates to be available for the entire company, you can tick the appropriate box in the top part of the view before saving.

When a new template for Invoice List is saved it will also come up with options for sorting:
Columns: Which of the columns to sort by.
Sort Order: whether it should be descending or ascending sort order.

Likewise, if you wish to make minor amendments to one of the standard Order List templates (defaults may not be altered), click on the template you wish to amend, and click Copy by the name. All the containers remain, but you may rename them. Thence you can add and remove fields as needed.
If you wish one of your self-created templates to be available for the entire company, you can tick the appropriate box in the top part of the view before saving.
